Amarjyothi Nursing Home was founded in 1974 by Dr. P.P Sundaran, with a vision to render quality affordable healthcare, with compassion and care.The Honourable Governor of Karnataka shri. Govind Narain presided over as Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony of the nursing home.

Dr. P.P Sundaran established multi-speciality OPD services to clients, which was a dire need for the neighbouring community.

1971Dr P.P Sundaran started his career as CMO of reputed hospital.
1974Dr. P.P Sundaran Started with a rented house.
1980First stand alone design into hospital in east Bangalore.
1980 - 1990Medical camps were conducted where all babies were examined by leading Pediatrician and women were examined by leading gynecologist.
1990 - 2005Dr. P.P. Sundaran conducted medical conferences, meetings related to medical disabilities.
